Party Time

We went to two Hanukkah parties this year and they were both at the temple nearby.  The first one turned out to have a pretty low attendance, but we got our latkes, sang some songs, and lit menorahs with the Rabbi so all was not lost. However, the second party was much more exciting since it was hosted by the temple preschool (where our kids will attend starting next fall) and our friends were there.  After dinner and candle lighting, we headed downstairs for some dancing.  Finley was really into it!

 After twenty minutes or so of dancing, Finley seemed to tire but then scarves were passed out and he instantly lit up when a green one came his way!

I love that he's totally doing his own thing while the rest of the kids (mostly older girls) are following the music for their moves.  There were other activities going on in other classrooms (playing dreidel, stories, etc.), but I couldn't convince Finley to leave the dancing.  Go figure!
