When my parents were here at Thanksgiving, the weather was a bit chilly (compared to the freakishly warm November) but nice and sunny, so they headed out with Dan and Finley to the playground and then back in our front yard.
Here's Finley "selling tickets," one of his favorite playground games. All you need is a ticket counter (usually found under structures), willing customers (grandparents are prime for this), and tickets. Tickets can be woodchips, rocks, leaves, or whatever might be handy.
Back on the home turf, Finley enjoyed "helping" Dan but shoveling all the fallen banana pods.
