A Triple Date

We sure are lucky to know so many other 2009 babies! On Wednesday, Finley and I went over to visit with Katie and 9 month old Mackenzie. Mackenzie's dad works at Turner like Dan and so we planned a play date followed by dinner with the dads when they got off of work. While they aren't working on the same project these days, Dan and Andy have stayed in touch and this get together was long overdue!

Since the weather was chilly and windy, we decided to hang out indoor at their place. Mackenzie is a sweetie who had lots of smiles for a very reserved Finley. He started to give a little back though!! Finley had fun standing up looking (and smiling) across the coffee table at Mackenzie, but by the time Dan got my attention and told me grab the camera, he'd soured on the whole thing.

Katie prepped a delicious dinner and finished cooking while the dads talked shop while entertaining the kids. They paused for a couple photos, look at these dads and their kiddos! As usual, the moms were behind the cameras :)

Finley needed his usual catnap after all the excitement, so I snuck this photo just before his lids closed for a good 30 minutes. And yes, he's officially a thumb-sucker!

It was a great afternoon/evening and I hope we won't wait to long to do it again!
