Finley Takes Over

We knew it would happen, but sooner than we expected our little guy has decided that he needs more room to play and explore. When we bought our house back in 2005, we loved that the there was a sunroom right off the kitchen. It had turf green carpet that had seen better days, but with so many windows and a door out to the deck, it had great potential. The room has seen a variety of functions from wedding present storage depot to a wet bar during BBQs. It's most memorable use, however, was as a home to our pet rabbits, Peanut and Fluff. Sadly, Fluff passed away a while back and after much consideration, we found Peanut a new home last week. As much as we loved our little ball of fur, he just wasn't getting near enough attention due to his big brother, Finley's, arrival. So after saying goodbye to Peanut and handing him off to his new mom, Anne-Marie, we cleaned out the room, moved the couch, and set up a train table that I found at a yard sale (what a steal!).

Finley now has another place to stand, roll around, practice sitting, and soon to crawl around in. He seemed to like the new set up. Plus, with only the train table and a couch in the room, it's the one and only room that is 100% baby-proofed!!
In case you never had the pleasure of meeting our bunnies, here's a picture from the fall of 2008. Peanut on the left and Fluff on the right. We had so much fun with them and we miss them both :)
