Post-Frisbee Florida Fun

Sadly, Dan's team didn't advance as far as they would have liked to this year, but the good news was Dan was able to spend some non-frisbee time playing together with us.

Breakfast out Sunday morning and the only picture proof that I was even on the trip!
Then, my mom and Dan took Finley to playground near the beach.
And Dan and I took Finley mini-golfing for the first time while my mom kindly stayed home with a napping Dagny.  Once he got the hang of things, Finley was a great golfer! Just don't stand too close when he swings!

By the 14th or 15th hole, Finley was all golfed out, but he was a good sport to hang out while Dan and I finished the round.  He loved "helping" get our balls into the last hole to see them go down the pipe.

On our last night down south, we checked out a toy store in downtown Sarasota and then had dinner at a restaraunt that had a live band which kept Finley's interest quite nicely.  We ate, danced, and even Dagny enjoyed herself.
Our flights home were surprisingly uneventful after all the craziness in rescheduling them a handful of times.  We changed planes in Atlanta and much to our surprise, Finley put himself to sleep right after take off and slept for most of the flight back home.
Thanks, Grammy, for coming--we could not have done it without you and we're sorry there are no pictures to prove it!!  Behind every crazed mom of young kids is definitely a supportive Grandma!

"Vacationing" with two kids is a misnomer, but I'm glad we went -- though even more glad that we won't do it again for a while :)
