Good morning, Dagny! We had a manageable night and while it was hard to tell how much sleep any of us got, we began the day.
Finely, Grammy, Grandpa, and GG arrived after breakfast and soon, Aunt Caitlin and Maggie arrived, too. Caitlin brought candy for me, a balloon for Dagny, and a great hook and ladder truck for Finley. The balloon was an instant hit with big brother!
GG got right to work and changed Dagny's diaper (I still haven't had the pleasure, hooray!) and we all had a lovely time passing Dagny around and watching Finley bounce around with the balloon and driving his new truck around.
After a while, everyone cleared out and Dan went home with them to give Finley some daddy time. Dagny and I cuddled up and took turns eating lunch and napping.
The crew was back for some yummy Chinese food for dinner and Finley dined on lo mein, fried rice, and finished it off with a portion of the chocolate cake that came with my lunch tray. I'm pretty sure he'll have nothing but fond memories of Dagny's arrival at the hospital: gifts, balloons, chicken fingers, chocolate cake, etc.
We said goodbye and I was excited to tell Finley that tomorrow we would bring Dagny home!
